Ferrous Tube Forming Lubricants:-
Continuous Welded Tube:-
The main issue with welded tube process is the dirty conditions. A water-mix
metal working lubricant with excellent bio-stability is the preferred option, or
just a very cheap product and accept smells and regular disposal.

Draw bench Lubricants:-

Traditionally this has been done with 90% chlorinated paraffin based
lubricants. These are available from a number of suppliers like
John Neale Ltd, Oilstore Ltd,
Gulf Lubricants, Fuchs Lubricants, Castrol,
Hangsterfers, Richards Apex, etc.
New Technology Lubricants with significant enhancements in performance over
the traditional lubricants have been developed, these are only available from
the most advanced lubricant supply companies like John
Neale Ltd with their range of Polymer enhanced Superdraw STP lubricants.
Pilger Lubricants:-
Again traditionally done with 90% Chlorinated paraffin based lubricants
from the same suppliers as above.
New technology Lubricants with significant enhancements in performance in
terms of production rate, surface finish, tool-life etc. This can sometimes be
achieved with chlorine-free technology or advanced solid lubricant enhanced
technology. These are again available from John Neale
Ltd.
