APPLICATION Castrol Techniclean DG1 is a general purpose emulsifiable solvent cleaner for removing oil, grease, soft carbon, fuel combustion products, and tar. It leaves a physically clean metal surface, permitting easier inspection and maintenance. Typical applications include; vehicle servicing and general engineering. * *Vehicle Servicing* External engine cleaning, chassis, back axles, gearboxes, wheels (less tyres). Reconditioning diesel fuel pumps. * *General Engineering* Reconditioning works plant and machinery. Removal of anti-corrosion films from stored parts of machinery. Where parts include rubber or plastics, minimise contact with solvent and rinse thoroughly with water. May cause deterioration of certain types of paint. * *Plant Required* Mild steel tank preferably with a means of agitation; mobile hot water/steam cleaner unit. * *Method of Use* Immerse in neat Techniclean DG1 for 10 - 30 minutes, withdraw and hose off with water.
