APPLICATION Techniclean DF is suitable for removal of swarf and other particulate soils, metalworking fluids and oily film rust preventives from ferrous metals during manufacture, particularly where corrosion protection during short term storage is required. Techniclean DF is suitable for use in a wide range of industrial immersion and ultrasonic equipment, and is designed for use at temperatures up to 80ºC, although a maximum of 60ºC is recommended for ultrasonic applications. Techniclean DF has excellent oil dispersing characteristics but allows rapid separation of oil from the wash solution. This enables effective removal with oil separation equipment thus helping to prolong the bath life and reduce effluent disposal problems.
