DESCRIPTION

Castrol RUSTILO 450 is a corrosion preventive system designed for
application to overhead line conductors operating under 'high
temperature' conditions.

APPLICATION

Castrol RUSTILO 450 is designed for application to overhead line
conductors operating under 'high temperature' conditions. This is
defined by the National Grid as meaning temperature up to and including
150ºC.

Castrol RUSTILO 450 is designed to be applied during the wire stranding
process to steel cored aluminium overhead conductor cables. These cables
are likely to have a life-span in excess of 20 years and be subjected to
all weather conditions.

Castrol RUSTILO 450 has category A approval against the National Grid
technical specification 3.4.12.

Product RUSTILO 450 has good low temperature characteristics remaining
flexible down to -20ºC without any tendancy to crack or flake.
