DESCRIPTION

Castrol Iloform FN 276 is based upon a blend of highly fatted mineral
oils, fortified by a synergistic package of active sulphur and
chlorinated extreme pressure agents.

APPLICATION

Castrol Iloform FN 276 is a high performance metal forming lubricant
intended for use in the most severe metal forming operations including
cold heading, back extrusion and bar drawing. The sulphur & chlorine
combine to give a product suitable for the most arduous applications
including:

    * Cold forming of valves
    * Manufacture of gudgeon pins
    * Secondary upsetting in manufacture of spark plug centre posts
    * Very large reductions in seam welded tubes
    * High speed drawing of large rectangular sections
