_______________________________________________________________________ Rustilo DWX ________________________________________________________________________________ Rust Preventative APPLICATION Castrol Rustilo DWX 33 is a high quality solvent deposited rust preventive with good dewatering properties. The solvent, after evaporation, leaves a soft greasy protective film. Castrol Rustilo DWX 33 is a long term protective which is suited to the treatment of steel exposed to the open air, such as coiled steel sheet, strip bar and extruded steel, exposed gearing, wire ropes, etc. The film is more robust than most soft film types of preservatives, but it is recommended that some form of covering is provided of long term storage. Rustilo DWX 33 can be applied by brushing or spraying, although its dewatering action is most effective if the articles to be protected can be immersed in a dip tank. The protective film can be removed using Castrol aqueous or solvent based cleaners.
