APPLICATION Castrol Cooledge BI is particularly suitable for use with steel and cast iron components, but is not recommended for use with copper alloys - Cooledge CB is suggested for this purpose. FEATURES S Castrol Cooledge BI possesses good anti-corrosion properties and provides short term protection against rusting of the workpiece between machining operations S Castrol Cooledge BI is suitable for use with a wide range of materials for a variety of machining operations, which can allow rationalisation of coolants within the machine shop and a reduction in the number of cutting fluids held. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION For maximum service life, coolant systems should be cleaned and sterilised by treatment with Castrol System Cleaner before changing to Cooledge BI. Treatment entails the addition of approximately 1% System Cleaner to the previous charge of coolant the day before it is due to be discarded.
